Werribee Zoo

Sunday's adventure was to Werribee Zoo. As you can see we got into the spirit. My favorite animal was the rhinos... but Els liked the Meerkats.

Me on a rope bridge.
The Lioness is shy.

& I got to pat them (the glass panes that is).

Rhinos!!

The Savannah area.

An Orix.

Zebra... by the end of the day I got sick of seeing them... more lions, tigers & bears I say!!!

Rude little Meerkats! NO! He's not dead, just sun baking.

Hippo & with the weather on Sunday I wanted to join him in the water...

Some sort of rare Mongolian horse.

Bison (we'd call them Buffalo but apparently this is wrong?!?!?)

See... not dead~!

Hot Rod Show

My camera has died... someone I smashed my LCD screen... I'm lamenting it's loss but it didn't stop Els and I having a brilliant time at the Hot Rod Show on Sunday.

What's a hot rod show without a little flammage?

This mini was full worked, thank god it wasn't slammed though... those f*ckers are tiny enough as it is.

I have a couple of bike shots, but this is my fave.

Just generic fully worked cars.

A Shelby

Chris; this is apparently what show Chev Pick Ups look like now ?!?

I don't have any of my own photos to upload this week. But here are some that a photographer friend took from up in the "burn zone".

Yering Station above- we went to visit Laura and ran into her leaving for the day.

Below. Els and I went to Shep for the weekend and visited Rutherglen. There is some sort of disease that is threatening the vines, do you can't go near the vineyards. BTW: When did wine country become boutique beer country too????

You can see the vast difference in the green between the two areas.

On the following Monday Els picked up glow sticks - this is the funky output.

Until next time... ciao.

HAPPY NEW YEAR!!!!!

Hi Chris & Michelle,

This post is a bit late... last weekend Elliot & I went to speedway with Dee & Sarah for Sprints. We had dirt EVERYWHERE; mouth, nose, ears, clevage, butt crack, handbag... you name it- it was dirtied.

Here's the best of the pics from the sprints. There was a 3 car pile up in front of us but the freaking flashing lights confused my widdle cam & I couldn't get a good shot.

There are more photos: here is a couple of me on NYE
& evil Elliot

This weekend we're in Shepparton - so no doubt we'll have more pics.
Have fun guys. Ya sis - Vic.
